Last night I had the pleasure of training with and old friend/family member, Anthony Odunsi, Odunsi had a good season for the Huskies, who are now members of the Southland Conference. Anthony led the team averaging 13.0 points, 2.7 assists, 0.9 steals and 3.2 rebounds in conference play. He also was named Southland Conference Honorable Mention. Anthony still somehow finds a way to create goals for himself, stay motivated, and keep pressing toward the mark. This off season should go really well for Anthony, his work ethic and proven ability to do what it takes should pay dividends. The off-season is here, which means you know what we’ll be doing.
Yesterday Anthony and I met at Kitty Hollow Park. We are still focusing on flexibility, balance, stability, and core strength. We are working to improve Anthony's body movements as a whole, we have to redistribute his weight properly, strengthen the weak areas and cut down the bulky areas, its a process, but we are working. So far I am satisfied with our efforts plus Anthony works hard, so we will see all of his time pay off really soon. HBU fans will have lots to be excited about!!
